The Basic RV Preparation Checklist:
✅ RV batteries – make sure they have a full charge.
✅ Flush the RV water system – check for leaks, sanitize and fill as necessary.
✅ Check for water leaks or moisture issues, damage in the structure.
✅ RV appliances – check connection valves, electrical wires, hinges and seals.
✅ Check RV tires – air pressure, treads, wear and cracking.
✅ Check RV seams and seals – start with roof and work your way down inspecting for any cracking, separation points or other forms od damage.
✅ Safety items – Smoke, CO and gas leak detectors, fire extinguisher and first aid kits
✅ Emergency roadside items – air compressor, battery jumpers, flashlights and spare batteries
✅ Setup and levelling items – blocks, drinking hoses, electrical adapters.
✅ Check fluids in generator and change as needed.
✅ Inspect the seams and seal
✅ Perform a full 360 degree inspection and safety check.
