How To Pick The Perfect Route For A Northern Ontario RV Trip
There are many variables to choosing the perfect RV route, but it all comes down to what interests you most and that may change from season to season. Maybe it’s somewhere you’ve always dreamed of going or it’s a place that you were referred to by other RVers.
Planning the perfect route doesn’t have to be a daunting task if you know where you want to go.
Follow these simple steps to help set yourself in motion to prepare your adventures.
- Make a list of the sights you want to see and map them out, so that you have a good visual. It helps to list them in order of highest priority.
- Once you’ve established your must-sees, set up a schedule. Do a little research on what people, who have visited previously have said. I.e., how much time is recommended for each location? Is it a 1-day adventure or a few hours stopover?
- If you’re not even sure where you’d like to go yet, no problem, there are many useful tools, apps and websites that will give you popular destination spots. Regardless, you’re sure to have a great time!
- Wherever you can make a reservation, do so. Make sure to confirm and reserve all the necessary campsites you will need to facilitate your journey.
Tip: When traveling in Northern Ontario, you will have to take into consideration the distance between locations and accessibility factors to fuel, fill-up and access dumping spots between locations.
